Tyn-yr-Onnen is run as a sustainable farm with a continuous focus on improving the environment. We have introduced rotational grazing, a no fertilizer policy, our sheep are grass fed, and we even produce electricity from our hydro scheme using a stream that runs through the farm.
Since 2021 we have started to produce our own Mushrooms. We believe that mushrooms are an extremely sustainable, versatile and delicious food source, including some with medicinal properties. We also produce micro greens which make a wonderful tasty and nutritious salads.

Our nearest beach Dinas Dinlle is 9 miles away whilst the beaches of Anglesey and the Llyn Peninsula are also easily accessible.
The village of LLanberis with its lake, mountains, waterfalls, outdoor activity hub and train to the Snowdon summit is 6 miles away.
It's a 12 minute walk from the campsite to the local microbrewery pub and restaurant.
